We are looking for an experienced motivated, passionate HR professional to join our busy HR department. You will be working as part of a team, supporting the site with all aspects of people related activity.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Provide line managers and employees with advice and guidance on policies and procedures.
- Manage and proactively coach managers in all areas of employee relation matters (disciplinary, absence, performance, probation etc)
- Maintain accurate and up to date employee records to ensure audit trail for completeness.
- Train and develop line managers in managing people activities.
- Assist with reviewing and updating the template letters and guides.
- Support the update of the TMS and HR systems.
- Support with the recruitment process, to provide a full service to internal customers by actively understanding the requirements and sourcing the best candidates.
- Assist the Head of HR with project work and future HR initiatives.
Person Specification
- Experience of managing multiple employee relation cases.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office.
- Confident working on their own and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with ability to relate to people at all levels.
- Tactful and approachable.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) or demonstrable experience.
- Minimum 3-years HR experience working in a fast-paced food environment.
