We are looking for
Automatic Machine Operators to efficiently and effectively run the auto operator machines and the ultrasonic welding machines for inline packing.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Efficiently and safely run and manage the inline packing machines
- Maintain the machinery to minimise breakdowns and potential downtime
- Raise mechanical issues in a timely manner with the line leader or engineering department to minimise downtime
- Keep the work area tidy and hazard free while actively promoting the clean as you go policy
- Report any downtime which will have an adverse effect on meeting your production targets
- Leave the machines in good working order and clean for the next shift to start
Person Specification
- Previous experience of operating packaging machinery
- Ability to work well in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Capacity to safely undertake the manual handling and physical activities required for the role, in accordance with health and safety procedures
