The company supplies the prepared food industry with a high quality product and offers an unsurpassed level of service in an extremely competitive sector of the market. Whole peeled, diced and sliced brown and red onions, as well as prepared onion rings and pickling onions are delivered daily by our own fleet of refrigerated lorries. With constant developments in terms of manufacturing processes and technical support, Goldwood Moulton continues to be part of the driving force behind the prepared onion industry. No order is too small and Goldwood specialise in serving both small volume customers along side larger food manufacturers. Flexibility and customer service are our greatest assets.

In 2007, we undertook a major refurbishment of our factory. This has enabled us to prepare onions, shallots and garlic in a high care environment for the retail trade. We are already supplying Waitrose, Asda and Co op with diced red and white onions, and we have plans to extend this business further. Major investment in peeling and packaging technology has allowed us to give our customers unsurpassed shelf life and freshness, rivaling that of our standard whole bulb onions and extending far past what our competitors can offer.

2010 has seen the introduction of six technically advanced robotic onion peeling machines which are improving our efficiency all the time.
